A native of Monette, Arkansas, Dr. Cannon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He did an internship in General Surgery, and then completed a residency in Anesthesiology, both at UAMS.
He was awarded a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Upon completion of his fellowship, he has been in an Interventional Pain Management practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas since 1995.
Dr. Cannon's treatment plans are individualized for each patient he sees. The goal is to utilize minimally invasive procedures and techniques to decrease pain, improve quality of life, and improve activities of daily living. These modalities include spinal and epidural injections, diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation, trigger point and Botox injections, joint injections, biologic and regenerative therapies like PRP.
Dr. Cannon enjoys being with his wife traveling, skiing, running, hiking, and flying. They enjoy spending time with their 3 grown daughters and their families, and their granddaughter.
